Today I’m sharing a city in Eastern Europe that needs to be on your radar: Bratislava, Slovakia. While this capital city rarely tops the charts of European getaways when compared to cities like London or Paris, this historic city has a special charm that you must experience.
From my trip to Budapest I was lucky enough and got to visit Bratislava, Slovakia as well<3. I fell in love with this city ,Bratislava is the secret pearl of that region! The tour through the old town was super interesting. But what I enjoyed most was the view over the city from the castle.
On my birthday I got a surprise trip which I am so thankful for cuz we had a wonderful time there! I am going to try to share as much information as I can, because it was a surprise trip I had only a couple of hours to pack and I forgot my camera so all these pictures are taken with my phone.
Budapest – or Buda and Pest – is by equal parts gritty and grey, majestic, beautiful and romantic. Over the years, Budapest, which is split down the middle by Danube, it’s also got a fascinating history, more museums, palaces and opera houses than you can shake a stick at, and some seriously delicious cuisine ( make sure you try their famous Goulash).
I got to visit Belgrade and spend some time with my best friend my sister Merima <3! I was planning my visit there for the longest time and we were both super excited and happy that I finally made it there. It was a quick trip so spend only a couple of days there but I loved the city and seeing my best friend. I will give you some tips on visiting the city but can’t wait to go again and let you know more about Belgrade.
I feel like I have been wearing one cocktail party dress after another lately. But this surge in events is not dying out anytime soon.
I stumbled on this coral dress at a boutique while in Parga,Greece and I just had to buy this because I could not get over how beautiful the color and the material is. The waist belt added that extra feminine touch. I paired the dress with silver accessories , like these sandals and the jewelry along with my favorite Louis Vuitton bag.
You can totally rock this dress for a fall event too. Throw on a black leather jacket, pair it with taupe/black booties and neutral accessories, and you will be good to go!
I finally caved in and bought a this gorgeous simple striped dress at Stradivarius. Over the past few months I’ve been obsessing over these styles of dresses, and over the weekend I was finally like, “Bler, you just gotta get one for yourself!” And I did! And it’s fantastic!
The great thing about a dress such as this one is that it makes the rest of the outfit easy. Even when paired with simple white heeled sandals, the outfit looks glam and fashion-forward. I threw on a pair sunglasses to spice things up a bit, but the outfit formula is really quite simple, and if you don’t already have one of these dresses, you really need to get on it!
With this dress in particular, I love that I can adjust the outfit of it depending on where I’m wearing it. For a night out or a trip to the beach, I can adjust it so it’s perfectly fitting the event. What I love most is that it works for the early fall as well, just pair it with a black leather jacket and some beige boots and you’re good to go.
I wore this in Preveza,Greece and it worked perfectly in a 34 degree traveling/blogging situation.
We’ve been exploring as much as possible lately & one of our favorite places to go nearby is Thessaloniki. There is such a great vibe in Thessaloniki because there are so many different types of people in the area. We love to walk down for amazing restaurants & some of the cutest shops you’ll ever find. I’ll be honest though, when exploring any area, my favorite thing to experience is the food and shopping of course :).
I have been obsessed with denim cut-offs for as long as I can remember. When I think of Summer, I instantly think of a cute pair of denim cut-offs paired with a cute top & sandals. If you’re as denim obsessed as I am, take a look below this are my favorite denim cut-offs this year!
I blame it on my mom. I can remember as a little girl looking up into her closets and seeing so many stripes I thought I might go cross eyed. There’s something so classic and sophisticated about stripes and when I’m wearing them, I feel put together.
My mom obviously felt the same way.
I’ve already found myself with approximately half of my closet selection being of the stripe variety.. and I’m not even mad about it. I love to mix pattern and a good stripe is the perfect foundation.
I wore this outfit in Lefkada and it perfectly matched the vibes there , therefore the pictures turned out just the way I wanted them, bringing some Greek vibes in :).
Hope you had a Summer as wonderful as mine was ! I was away all August and now I am finally back ready to share my wonderful, crazy, fun Summer moments. This Summer vacay was all over the place -and by that I mean literally all over the place LOL. I have visited 10 cities on this vacation- by which you know it was pretty hectic and the most amazing part is that 7 of those cities I’ve never been to before! It was a wonderful trip but I made sure to “save the best for last” and that is where I spent 3 beautiful days, in Simantro Beach Hotel in Halkidiki,Greece.
I am so into culotte pants and I decided to do a post on how to style them cause most people don’t take the risk to try and wear new things. I got my culotte black pants from NAKD and I am in love with them ! I just wanted to show that it’s really simple to style them and they have the ‘power’ to make a simple outfit look more stylish and special
I am so excited to share with you the next post ! Usually I don’t post a lot of festive look so it’s time for a change on the blog !
